Altijd ALDI

In 2021 and 2022, I worked on content platform Altijd ALDI for supermarket ALDI as the UI/UX Designer and Consultant at Wayne Parker Kent. To stand out in a competitive market, ALDI needed to strengthen its connection with customers by addressing their daily questions on topics a supermarket can support with – going beyond food and recipes to include e.g. home life, pets and budgeting.

Working alongside the Strategist and SEO Specialist at Wayne Parker Kent, I designed and deployed the platform, transforming it from a simple list of categories into the online magazine it is today.

As the sole UI/UX designer on this large-scale project, I crafted a user-friendly and engaging interface aligned with ALDI’s brand values. I developed flexible templates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and trained content managers to ensure the platform could evolve and expand independently. Launched in 2022, Altijd ALDI quickly gained recognition from Emerce and the Grand Prix Content Marketing Awards for its innovative approach to customer engagement.
